Tally Pro BD Privacy Policy

Tally Pro BD (“we”, “our”) is a business management app for shops and small businesses — POS, sales, purchases, inventory, production, staff and business accounting. This policy explains what data we collect and why.

Data we collect

• Account: mobile number, name, business/tenant name, PIN (stored securely).
• Business records: products, stock, sales, purchases, customers, suppliers, production, staff/salary, accounts, and notes you enter.
• Images: product photos, logos, signatures and receipt photos you upload.
• Device: push notification token, app version, basic telemetry for support and security.
• Approximate location: a coarse, city-level location derived from your IP address at login or when saving a transaction, used only for account security. We do not use GPS and do not collect precise location.
• Contacts (optional): only when you pick a contact for a customer, supplier or staff member — not uploaded in bulk.

How we use data

• Provide accounting, reports, reminders, and team features.
• Authenticate you via OTP and PIN.
• Send notifications you enable.
• Respond to support messages.

Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We use trusted service providers (e.g. SMS, push notifications, AI providers for the in-app assistant) only to operate the service. Data may be disclosed if required by law.

Retention & security

Data is stored on secure servers. You may request account deletion through the app profile or by contacting support. We use encryption in transit (HTTPS) and industry-standard access controls.

Your choices

You can deny optional permissions (camera, contacts, notifications). Some features may not work without them. The app does not request location access.

Children

Tally Pro BD is intended for business users and is not directed at children under 13.
